Riders jumping in
Since Doug and Justin took an earful I think it's only fair to ask that riders do not jump in, then re-appear again, then again and again. At times, it is safe but all too often we've been hammering (most of us on the rivet) and there is a rider in the way. Sometimes it's on a roller, into a turn or a flat. My concern is that a rider will be drifting off from the paceline and not realize another rider is that close, or the group will swarm around the rider and not everyone will be ready for it or aware of what's going on and then SMACK.
Just about every crash we have had has been from a wheel bump or into a turn. With that said, we already have enough ingrediants for a receipe for disaster and we probably do not need anymore.
