12/10 & 12/11

It's that time of year again, when we all need to check the condition of our tires for riding thru this winter. if your tires are all cut or worn halfway you should replace them now for the winter season.
Be Advised: If you get a flat and you have shitty worn out tires i will not wait for you.

12/10- oley kings 9.30am- 50 miles w/coffee shop stop- easy endurance miles

12/11- oley kings 9.30am- 40-50 miles w/coffee shop stop. derby guys can ride up to teh derby together



SPECIAL NOTE: On 12/17/2011 there will be a regular ride leaving from oley, but if you would like more climbing Kevin Kol will be leading a ride as follows:

The ride leaves from the Leaser Lake parking lot in Jacksonville at 9:30. To get there, go north on 143 about 4 miles past Kempton. About 1 mile after passing Wanamakers General Store, you’ll notice Woomer’s Memorial to your right (they sell tombstones) and then a sign for Jacksonville. At the next intersection, just after Nestor’s Funeral home, make a left onto Pleasure Court. Park in the Leaser Lake lot there.
The ride will encompass 5 significant climbs and 3 lesser climbs, and a fair amount of “punchy” terrain. The ride is slated to be about 60 miles though there are spots where the group could decide to lengthen, shorten, or flatten the effort. Just to be safe, gearing of 39x25 is suggested.
