Saturday:
Jim’s not riding on Saturday, so JFK and I are headed for the hills in Carbon and Schuykill counties, and we’d welcome company. We’re meeting at 9:00 at Jacob’s Union Church on route 143. The church is 3.9 miles past the 737 junction on 143 at Kempton and just after a funeral home and an intersection. The original course is 72 miles and definitely challenging, but the group will ultimately decide the length. A 39x25 is recommended. In case of day-of inclement weather, call 610-929-5530 that morning.
