April 15,2008 TAX DAY RIDE

Well it was taxing(get it) ride last night, sorry I'm bad with humor

Anyway I had a blast, when I saw around 28+ miles gone on my odomoeter I said I'm gonna make it!(see my mishap below) We stopped at the second 562 crossing and Nick from Dynaflow somehow dropped his chain, I figure wow he is lucky as we were just starting to roll out I figured he woudn't get left behind, but out of nowhere my left Calf cramped up (I removed my foot at the stop) as I watched the 7 or so pedal away after about 15-30 seconds I got my leg to sort of start working and started Time Trialing; I can feel it on the hills but I kept going I passed one dropped rider from the lead group on Oley TP, then I saw two guys (I found out later one was Rasta) chasing hard behind the rider I passed as I got on Mine and went hard until the pole

That was the fastest Tuesday I've ever been on and its only April.
I went home, showered, ate some pasta, and slept like a baby

Tuesday was fun. The pace was strong, but not too bad. I'm not sure what I was thinking trying to jump the sprint from 300 out. With Ryan still in the group, yeah, that was a good idea.

You rode really well Alan. Keep it up and I'll be marking and sitting your wheel.

I wondered what happened to you, you seemed to be riding really strong. I tried to hold back a little more this week since I blewup on the steep hill right before we get on Limekiln for the second time the week before. It seemed to work better for me since I was still around at the finish. Overall it was a really good ride.

I'll see you in two weeks, I'm heading down to Georgia next Tuesday to watch a few stages of the Tour de Georgia.
